Long Bredy Farm Certificated Location is a members only farm site for caravans and motorhomes in the Bride Valley, seven miles west of Dorchester in Dorset. The site sits at Long Bredy (DT2 9HP), a small village in the valley of the River Bride beneath the chalk hills of the Dorset Downs, roughly midway between Dorchester and Bridport and close to the A35. A Certificated Location is a club site, so club membership is required to pitch up here. Long Bredy Farm is recorded as a working farm taking caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook up available, open all year, and dogs and families welcome. No tent pitches and no glamping are recorded. Facilities are minimal by design, which is rather the point of a CL: this suits self contained tourers who want a quiet base in west Dorset, and it does not suit campers who want a shop, a pool or an entertainment programme.
