About this site

Manor Fields Farm Certificated Site is a member only campsite on Colway Lane at Lyme Regis, three quarters of an acre of sheltered, part level ground with a riverside footpath into town. That walk takes 15 to 20 minutes and drops you at the Cobb harbour, the fossil beaches and the shops, which beats driving into Lyme Regis and hunting for a space in August. Charmouth is about 2 miles east and Bridport around 8 miles along the Jurassic Coast, with a bus stop, a shop, a pub and a restaurant all within a mile of the gate. Pitches come four ways: grass with or without electric hook up, and hardstanding with or without. Tents, trailer tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and rooftop tents are all accepted, and dogs are welcome. The catch is sanitation. The Club listing marks own sanitation as essential, so you need a loo in your outfit and tent campers need a plan before they book. Being a Certificated Site, Manor Fields Farm takes a maximum of five caravans or motorhomes plus up to ten tents, and you need Camping and Caravanning Club membership to book it at all. The site opens 1 March to 31 October, with member prices from £18 a night per unit, including up to two adults and two children.

Good to know

Do I need to be a club member to stay at Manor Fields Farm?
Yes, this is a Certificated Site, which means it is a small privately run campsite operating under Camping and Caravanning Club jurisdiction and reserved for members. You book through the Club rather than a public booking engine, and the quoted prices are member prices per unit per night.
Are dogs allowed at Manor Fields Farm?
Yes, the Club listing tags the site as pets welcome. It is a quiet, well sheltered field with plenty of wildlife around it, and the riverside path into Lyme Regis makes an easy daily walk. Charmouth beach, about 2 miles east, is another good option for a dog run.
Are there toilets and showers on site?
No, the Club listing marks own sanitation as essential at this site, so your caravan or motorhome needs its own facilities. Tent campers should sort out their own arrangements before booking rather than assume a facilities block. Everything else about the site is deliberately simple and quiet.
Is there electric hook up?
Yes, the site offers grass pitches with electric hook up and hardstanding pitches with electric hook up, alongside grass only and hardstanding only pitches with no power. That gives you four pitch types on a plot of just three quarters of an acre, which is unusually flexible for a certificated site.
How far is the beach from Manor Fields Farm?
Lyme Regis and its beaches are a 15 to 20 minute riverside walk from the site, which the owners flag as the main draw. The walk ends at the historic Cobb harbour and the town's safe beaches. Charmouth, the classic Jurassic Coast fossil hunting beach, is roughly 2 miles east.
When is the site open and what does it cost?
The Camping and Caravanning Club lists Manor Fields Farm as open from 1 March to 31 October. Member prices run from £18.00 to £22.00 per unit per night, including up to two adults and two children. Tents, trailer tents, caravans, motorhomes and rooftop tents are all accepted.
