The park sits in level, tree-screened grassland between Christchurch and Ringwood, a short drive from Bournemouth Airport and close to the western edge of the New Forest, which makes it a practical touring base for the coast at Christchurch and Bournemouth as well as forest walks and rides. Grass pitches take tents, touring caravans and motorhomes, and electric hook-up is available, so the park suits tourers who want mains power on an open, countryside plot rather than a coastal or clifftop pitch. This is a touring park, so there is no static holiday-home camping here. Facilities and current pitch prices are arranged directly with the park through its own booking and enquiry line. Mount Pleasant Park works best as a quiet, well-placed stopover for exploring Christchurch, the New Forest and the Dorset and Hampshire coast.
