Mouse Cottage Certificated Location is a members only touring site at Nottington Farm in the hamlet of Nottington, a 1.5 acre CL between Weymouth and Dorchester with the River Wey running along its border. The site is 3 miles from the nearest sandy beach and within 5 miles of watersports, and a bus stop less than half a mile up Nottington Lane runs frequently between Weymouth and Dorchester, so the car can stay on the pitch. A public right of way leads from the site into the surrounding fields and countryside walks. Pitches are hardstanding or grass with 16 amp electric hook up, and Mouse Cottage takes caravans and motorhomes only, so tents are out. Dogs and families are both welcome, and there is a dog walk from the site. What sets it apart from most CLs is the heated utility block: an exclusive use shower, a WC, Wi-Fi, a washing machine and dryer, plus a microwave, kettle and toaster, along with drive over waste disposal for motorhomes and a baby changing table.
