Why campers love it here
About this site
Norden Farm Touring Caravan & Camping Site is a family-run, four-pennant campsite on a working farm just outside Corfe Castle on the Isle of Purbeck, Dorset. The site spreads across four level grass fields in a quiet valley, within a mile of Corfe Castle village and about 3.5 miles from the market town of Wareham, with Studland Bay and Swanage roughly fifteen minutes away by car. Two bus stops sit at the entrance and the Swanage steam railway is a five-minute walk, so you can leave the car and still explore Purbeck. Three fields have electric hook-up, and a six-acre field gives non-electric pitching for tents and campervans in peak season. There are no hardstanding pitches, so tourers who need firm ground should look elsewhere, and the site closes over winter. Glamping is available, and families are well served by farm animals, a playground, a fishing pond, two shower blocks and an on-site farm shop selling gas, ice and camping basics. Dogs are welcome. Norden Farm suits campers who want a proper working-farm setting with easy transport links rather than a facilities resort. The site opens from 1 April to 31 October, with electric pitches from £12.50 a night in low season (non-electric pitches are £5 less) and people charged on top.
