Why campers love it here
About this site
Osmington Corner Camp Site, also known as Osmington Mills Corner Campsite, is a simple, family run tent and motorhome site set in several acres of countryside above the village of Osmington, near Weymouth in Dorset. The site has been used by returning campers for more than 60 years and keeps things old fashioned and low cost. Pitches are terraced and flat with wide open views towards Weymouth, which is roughly 5 miles away, while the coast at Osmington Mills and its Smugglers Inn sits about a mile downhill on the South West Coast Path that runs beside the site. Tents and motorhomes with awnings are welcome, but there are no touring caravans and no electric hook ups, so this is proper back to basics camping. Facilities cover a toilet block with hot showers, plenty of space for children to run about and fire pits available to rent. A bus stop by the site runs to Weymouth and Durdle Door, and two pubs are within walking distance. Dogs are welcome on leads. Camping is seasonal and limited to set dates in late spring and summer, and there is one flat price of £18 per tent per night. No deposit is needed and you book by phoning Osmington Corner Camp Site directly.
