About this site

Parkers Farm Holidays is a family-run working farm holiday park on the edge of Dartmoor near Ashburton, with camping and touring pitches alongside static caravans. The park is set in South Devon countryside at Higher Mead Farm, terraced to give large, level pitches with open views towards Dartmoor, and the A38 close by makes it an easy base for the moor, local towns and the Torbay coast a comfortable drive away. Owned and run by the Parker family, it welcomes tents, touring caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents and campervans across around 100 pitches, plus 17 static caravans to rent. It suits families who want a genuine farm experience and a Dartmoor base rather than anyone after a beachfront pitch or an adults-only retreat, since the animals, tractor rides and family bar are very much the point here. Beyond the pitches, the draw is the working farm itself: meeting and feeding friendly farm animals on the farm walk, tractor rides in high season, a bar and restaurant, several children's play areas and a games room. The park was named a Devon regional winner in the Practical Caravan and Practical Motorhome Top 100 Sites Guide. Parkers Farm runs across the main season from around March to the end of October, with bookings taken through the park's own website.
