About this site

Peak Gateway, also known as Peak Gateway Leisure Club, is a family caravan, camping and holiday home park at Osmaston, a couple of miles south east of Ashbourne on the doorstep of the southern Peak District. It offers large hardstanding pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes, a separate level tent field, seasonal pitches and owner occupied static holiday homes, all in an open countryside setting. Electric hook up runs on a Smartcard meter that you top up at reception, and touring and camping guests get free hot showers. The heart of the park is the main building housing reception and a licensed bar, which runs a lively events calendar including quiz nights, bingo, sticky cards and the occasional barn dance, so evenings here have a proper social buzz. There is a children's play park and plenty of space for ball games, and dogs are welcome. Reviews are a mixed but generally positive 7 out of 10, with visitors rating the friendly staff, bar and handy location while noting some of the older facilities could do with a refresh. Ashbourne, Carsington Water and the Tissington Trail are all close for walking, cycling and days out across Derbyshire. Peak Gateway opens for the main touring and camping season from mid March to early November, and pitches are booked through the park directly.
