We are now taking bookings for the 2020 season We are open from 15th March to 15th November for camping/touring caravans and motorhomes and an extended opening time of 15th March to 15th January for Holiday Caravan Owners and Static Caravan hire. Being only 6 miles from Bigbury-on-Sea, Pennymoor is a very friendly,delightful,spacious 12.5 acre rural site which enjoys spectacular panoramic views over Dartmoor and the Devonshire countryside, with many happy customers returning on a regular basis Well behaved dogs and their owners are welcome! Dont be fooled by its rural location; a plethora of beautiful sandy beaches are just a short drive away, including Bigbury on Sea and Burgh Island where Agatha Christie famously wrote two of her novels. A 30 minute drive will take you to Plymouth,Salcombe,Dartmouth, Torquay, Totnes, Kingsbridge and Ivybridge, providing a wide choice of shopping; Not to mention Dartmoor National Park with stunning scenery and Tors to climb - just waiting for you and your family to explore, The site offers well maintained facilities, including WiFi, children's play area with safety surfaces, table tennis, shop for daily groceries, newspapers and hot pasties etc, Gas, Super toilet and shower facilities, full disabled facilities, laundry room, covered dishwashing facilities, all with FREE hot water; chemical disposal points, motorhome service point, emergency telephone, dog walking areas We cater for tents of all shapes and sizes, touring caravans and motorhomes, and large pitches.
