Royal Yeoman Certified Location is a small caravan and motorhome stopover in the grounds of a bed and breakfast at Grimstone, on the A37 about 4 miles north west of Dorchester in Dorset. The building is a former village inn, which stopped trading as a pub around 2001 and has run as a five room bed and breakfast since, so the site comes with a guest lounge, gardens and secure parking rather than a bar. The grounds are large and include a mill stream, with walks along the River Frome from the door. Dorchester and Maiden Castle are roughly 15 minutes away by car, Cerne Abbas and its hill figure about 5 miles north, and Weymouth and the Jurassic Coast around 10 miles south. The Royal Yeoman suits touring caravanners and motorhome owners who want a quiet, tidy overnight stop with a proper breakfast on tap. It will not suit tent campers or families after a site with play areas and facilities for a week.
