About this site

Sea Barn Farm Camping Park is a quiet, AA three-pennant camping park at Fleet near Weymouth in Dorset, with panoramic views over the Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Bank, Lyme Bay and the Isle of Portland. Its eleven camping acres are part of a 300 acre beef and cereal farm that runs down to the Fleet Lagoon, an internationally protected nature reserve, and the camping area is about a 500 metre walk from the Fleet shore and the South West Coast Path. The park welcomes tents and motorhomes with a tent or awning; it does not take touring caravans. A Quiet Nights policy applies, bookings are in advance only, groups are not accepted, and there is a two household maximum, so it suits families and couples after calm scenery rather than anyone planning a big group get-together. Dogs are welcome, up to two, kept on a short lead. The modern facilities block has underfloor heating, family bathrooms and a laundry, and there is a bungalow and a static caravan to hire for anyone who prefers not to camp. Weymouth, Portland and Abbotsbury are within easy reach for beaches and days out. Sea Barn Farm takes advance bookings for the season, and pitches are quoted and booked through its online booking system.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at Sea Barn Farm?
Yes, dogs are welcome, up to two per booking, and must be kept on a short lead on and off the park. Dogs should not be left unattended in tents or vehicles, and the farm walk and the stroll down to the Fleet shore both give handy dog walking.
Can I bring a touring caravan?
No, Sea Barn Farm takes tents and motorhomes with a tent or awning only, and does not accept touring caravans. If you would rather not camp, the park also has a bungalow and a static caravan available to hire in the same scenic location above the Fleet.
Is the site family friendly?
Yes, it is a peaceful family camping park that welcomes families and couples. However, a Quiet Nights policy applies, groups are not accepted and there is a two household maximum, so it suits people after calm scenery rather than large gatherings or party groups.
How close is the coast?
Yes, it is very close: the camping area is about a 500 metre walk from the Fleet shore and the South West Coast Path. The park looks out over the Fleet Lagoon, Chesil Bank, Lyme Bay and the Isle of Portland, with Weymouth and Abbotsbury a short drive away.
Can large groups book?
No, groups are not accepted and there is a two household maximum, in line with the park's Quiet Nights policy. If you hope to camp near friends or family, you must contact the park for authorisation first, or the linked bookings can be cancelled.
How do I book?
Bookings are taken in advance only for the season, through the park's online booking system, where current pitch prices are quoted. There is also an option to request a brochure or a quote, so you can confirm dates and costs before you commit to a stay.
