About this site

Shrubbery Caravan and Camping Park, trading as Shrubbery Touring Park, is a level 10 acre touring and camping park on the Dorset and Devon border at Rousdon, about 3 miles west of Lyme Regis. The park has been run by the same family since 1966 and sits within the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a short drive from the Jurassic Coast at Lyme Regis and Seaton, with the main bus route passing the entrance. Generous, well drained pitches suit touring caravans, motor caravans and tents, and every van pitch has an electric hook up, with water and disposal points close by. Two heated glamping pods give a no tent option, each with a double room, a twin room, heating and power, though the pods do not take dogs. Families are well catered for with a play area at one end and a quieter end for couples and adults, so it works for both. Clean, heated shower and toilet blocks are a recurring highlight for visitors, and the setting stays calm and green. Dogs are welcome on leads across the touring area. The park opens from late March to the end of October. Prices for pitches and pods are quoted through the Shrubbery Touring Park online booking system.

Good to know

Does Shrubbery have electric hook ups?
Yes, every van pitch has an electric hook up, with water and waste disposal points close by. Pitches are level and well drained across a 10 acre site, and touring caravans, motor caravans and tents are all welcome from late March to the end of October.
Is there glamping?
Yes, there are two heated glamping pods for anyone who does not want to bring a tent. Each pod has a double room and a twin room, lighting, power and a picnic bench, and sits near the showers. The pods are non smoking and do not take dogs.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, dogs are welcome across the touring and camping area and must be kept on a lead, with owners responsible for them at all times. Dogs are not allowed inside the glamping pods, so bring a tent or van if you are travelling with a dog.
Is it good for families?
Yes, there is a family end of the park with a play area for children, plus a separate quieter end for couples and adults without children. That split makes it work for both, and the clean, heated shower and toilet facilities are a regular highlight for visitors.
How far is Lyme Regis?
Lyme Regis is about 3 miles east, a short drive with its harbour, historic streets and restaurants, and Seaton and Beer lie a similar distance the other way. The park sits at Rousdon on the Dorset and Devon border, on the main bus route.
How do I get prices and book?
Prices for pitches and glamping pods are shown and confirmed through the Shrubbery Touring Park online booking system, with a tariff page on the operator website. A deposit is taken when you book, with the balance due before you arrive.
