Silver Gates Camping & Caravanning

Silver Gates is a Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site in the village of Churchstow, near Kingsbridge in the South Hams of South Devon. As a members-only CS it takes up to five caravans or motorhomes plus around ten tents, with roomy hardstanding plots, individual electric meters and hot showers, and it stays open all year. This Silver Gates base suits Club members exploring the South Hams by caravan, motorhome or tent, sitting within reach of the coast and the South West Coast Path. Kingsbridge, with its shops and estuary, is close by, while the beaches and sailing waters around Salcombe and Bantham are a short drive across South Devon. You join the Camping and Caravanning Club to book, and can usually sign up on site. Being a small, quiet site, Silver Gates leans towards campers after calm countryside rather than a big-facility holiday park. As with most certificated sites, on-park facilities are kept simple, and current pitch tariffs are confirmed through the Camping and Caravanning Club at the time of booking.
