Silverwood Farm Certificated Site

Silverwood Farm Certificated Site is a five van, members only campsite on Horton Road at Three Legged Cross, in the countryside north of Wimborne in Dorset. The Camping and Caravanning Club describes it as a well sheltered hideaway of one acre, level throughout, taking up to five caravans or motorhomes plus up to ten tents or trailer tents. Pitches are grass, and you choose between grass only or grass with electric hook-up. There is a flushing toilet, showers and a designated dog walk, and fishing is available, though a licence may be required. This is a small, quiet CS rather than a park with a pool and a clubhouse, so anyone who wants organised entertainment on tap should look elsewhere. What Silverwood Farm does well is position: Moors Valley Country Park is about 3 miles, Ringwood roughly 4 miles, Wimborne Minster around 5 miles, and Bournemouth and the coast sit within 10 miles. A shop, horse riding and golf are all nearby off site, with public transport within a mile. The site is open from 1 January to 31 December 2026 and you need Camping and Caravanning Club membership to book. Prices start from £22.50 a night for members, covering the unit plus up to two adults and two children, and the Club advises booking ahead.
