Why campers love it here
About this site
St Leonards Farm Caravan and Camping Park is a traditional touring and camping park at West Moors near Ferndown in east Dorset, run by the same family since 1945. The park sits inland between Ferndown and Verwood, postcode BH22 0AQ, around a 20 minute drive from Bournemouth and Poole beaches and roughly 15 minutes from the New Forest, so it works as a base for both coast and forest. Pitches take tents, touring caravans, motorhomes and campervans, with standard grass pitches and premier pitches that include a 10 amp electric hook up. Glamping is available through styled bell tents, and there are shepherd huts and static caravans on site too. It suits families, with a play area and children's pricing, and dogs are welcome for a small nightly charge. Note that no fires or fire pits are allowed and raised barbecues only, no commercial vehicles are permitted, and electric hook ups are 10 amp, so high draw appliances such as kettles and fan heaters will trip them. Reviewers repeatedly mention clean, well kept facilities, generous pitch sizes and friendly staff, with occasional comments about shower pressure. St Leonards Farm holds a four star AA rating. Standard pitches start from £24 a night and premier pitches with electric from £30 a night, booked through the park's online system.
