Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 10 Opening Dates: March To October A quiet caravan and camp site, we do not allow noise after 10pm as this would disturb many of our guests, particularly those who have children. The caravan site is located well off the main road along a private drive. Scenic views from the site of the gritstone escarpement of Curbar Edge. The old mill stream which used to power the water wheel of an 18th century cotton mill flows along the edge of the site. Ideally located for those who enjoy walking, a public footpath runs through the farm. A 5 miles walk along the footpath in one direction through fields, by the river and through a wood leads to Hathersage, said to be the burial place of the outlaw, Little John. In the other direction, the footpath leads to Baslow 2 miles away, again by the river and through a wood after which, a short walk through the village leads into Chatsworth Park. We do not take card payments or cheques. Payment is to be made in cash on arrival
