Why campers love it here
About this site
Studland Summer Camp is a long-established naturist campsite for tents on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset, and it is the only naturist camp site in Purbeck. The site is simple and rustic, gently sloping and ringed by open countryside on the Jurassic Coast, within easy reach of Swanage about 3 miles away and the historic village of Corfe Castle a couple of miles off. Clothing is optional and all naturists are welcome, whether you are single, a couple, a family or new to the idea, so guests should be comfortable with a clothing-optional setting. This is a tents-first site with no electric hook-up and no glamping. Coach-built motorhomes, caravans and large vans cannot be taken, and only small van-derived campers are considered by prior arrangement, with no car campers. Facilities are kept basic and clean, with hot showers, flushing toilets, a washing-up station, a chemical toilet emptying point, recycling bins and shared fridge and freezer space for small items. Studland naturist beach is a well-known draw a short distance away. Studland Summer Camp opens for two short seasons each year, with a Whitsun spring season from 16 to 31 May 2026 and a summer season from 24 July to 2 September 2026. Pitches start from £19 a night for one tent and up to two adults, with children camping free.
