About this site

Pitches: 99 pitches mix of fully serviced hardstanding & gr Opening Dates: Open All Year The Campsite is on former working dairy farmland, an excellent little site We have all the facilities of much larger & more expensive sites but with less people! The emphasis is on luxury and tranquillity within a rural area, we welcome well behaved pets and have a dedicated fenced dog off lead exercise area by the entrance & also 55 acres of dog walk without roads. We cater for families too with our family/disabled washroom & small under 12s play area. We also have an over 10s ball area for football, basketball & volleyball. Bikes/scooters/skateboards etc are not allowed on or around the access roads of the site for safety as we are a small site. Bikes can be ridden in the ball field ONLY. Facilities include a small pond stocked with young and big fish (28lb carp), a picnic area, open fields to walk in and look over, numerous nearby bridle paths, an onsite reception & small shop with daily bread/pastries order in & our on site take away trailer is available in high season with the usual take away food, our on site spa caters for manicures, pedicures & massages/alternative therapies. We have tractor trailer rides in high season & animal petting after. Our barn has a pool table, table football and table tennis table in it. We have free to use fridge and freezer in the barn too. We have talks in the barn and weekly family quiz nights and bingo nights. Everything stops at 10pm to maintain the peace on site & we wake up so early! Each pitch has uninterrupted views over open unspoilt countryside most with parking next to the pitch but not all, a small overflow parking area , a heated shower block with 6 showers,6 wcs, & 3 dishwashing sinks, a disabled/family washroom with baby change unit, a laundry and a chemical toilet disposal unit and an overflow unheated block with 2 further showers, 2 WCs and 2 dishwashing sinks. A third block is currently being built ready for 2020. We have various pitch from non electric to grass to hardstanding to fully serviced. The site has CCTV, nightly gate alarm from midnight to 7am for everyone's safety and security & there is very basic WIFI (free) We also offer secure storage facilities & 5 seasonal pitches separate from the main site Pitch fees start at £17 up to £26 for a superpitch this is for pitch, unit, one car, EHU and 2 adults.
