About this site

The Inside Park is a family run touring caravan and camping park set in ancient parkland on a working farm near Blandford Forum, Dorset. The site sits along Fairmile Road about two miles from Blandford Forum town centre, tucked away from the nearest road inside a private farm valley, so it stays quiet and dark at night. It takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents across 120 pitches, most with electric hook up, and there are no static or seasonal pitches. Families are the core audience here: there is a large fenced adventure playground, an indoor games room with pool and table tennis, and over five miles of private waymarked trails for walking, cycling and dog walking. Dogs are welcome, though half the park is a designated no dogs zone, which suits campers who prefer a dog free spot. Washrooms sit inside converted 18th century stables and coach houses with free hot water, and there is a well stocked shop, a launderette and free Wi-Fi. The central Dorset location works as a base for both the coast and inland towns. The Inside Park opens from 1 April to 31 October. Low season pitch fees start at £15 a night, with per adult, child, electric and dog charges added on top, and a £25 deposit secures a booking.

Good to know

Are dogs allowed at The Inside Park?
Yes, dogs are welcome and there are over five miles of private trails for walking them. Half of the park is a designated no dogs area, including the side with the children's playground, so you can choose a dog friendly or dog free pitch when you book.
Does The Inside Park have electric hook up?
Yes, most of the 120 pitches have electric hook up. Electric is charged as an extra on top of the nightly pitch and per person fees, so add it to your booking request. Tents, touring caravans and motorhomes are all accepted on the park.
When is The Inside Park open?
The park opens from 1 April to 31 October each year. It does not operate over winter, and there are no static or seasonal pitches, only touring pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents that you book night by night through the site.
How much does it cost to stay?
Low season pitch fees start at £15 a night and high season fees are £18, with separate charges for each adult, child aged three and over, electric hook up and dogs. A £25 non refundable deposit is required, with the balance paid on arrival.
Is The Inside Park suitable for families?
Yes, families are well catered for with a large fenced adventure playground, an indoor games room with pool and table tennis, and space for ball games. The working farm has plenty of wildlife, and marked trails run through woodland and parkland for walks and bike rides.
