Treacle Valley Campsite ( Manor Farm )

Pitches: up to 75 Opening Dates: Easter Wknd To 30th Sept Treacle Valley Campsite, (formally Manor Farm), is a 200 acre working farm producing a beef herd and crops throughout the working year. It's nestled in a quiet and unspoilt valley just to the north of the seaside towns of Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Newton Abbot. You feel you are deep in the country side but in reality you are less than a 10 minute drive away from the main town centre and more than 20 different beaches. All beautiful in their own way, (#can you visit them all?). The camp site can take upto 75 tents and has an updated shower and toilet block facility (2016) with constant hot water. There is a small laundry and dish washing area to the side of the shower block and a small camp shop which sells basic items. Booking is only required during the school summer holidays and even then space is not an issue as we have a huge overflow field licensed as a campsite. Many of our regular campers just arrive when they wish and register with me in the camp shop when they have pitched up. We do allow BBQ's and camp fires providing they are kept up off the grass and are kept under control at all times. We are also dog friendly but dogs must be kept on their leads at all times and any dog mess cleared up immediately. We are now the only camp site in this area who allow young, same sex groups/couples and families and all we ask is that you are considerate to other campers and our local residents at all times. We also have a holiday rental cottage (Manor Farm@ welcome cottages) next to the camp site for those who maybe require a little more comfort but can still experience the camp site life where the rest of the family might be.....
