Wareham Forest Tourist Park

Wareham Forest Tourist Park is a five star touring and camping park set in 55 acres of woodland and grass on the edge of Wareham Forest, near Wareham in Dorset. The park is surrounded by around 14 square miles of forest with direct access for walking and cycling, and it sits within reach of the Jurassic Coast, the Isle of Purbeck and Poole. It takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents, with a range of pitches from fully serviced superior hardstandings to open and woodland tent pitches among the trees. Owners Tony and Sarah Birch run it through the year. A free heated outdoor swimming pool with a children's paddling pool opens from late May to early September, and there is an adventure playground, a family games room and a licensed shop on site. Two modern toilet blocks provide free showers and wash cubicles, and there are laundries, dish washing areas, a dog wash and EV charging. Dogs are welcome. The mix of space, forest walks and the pool makes Wareham Forest a strong choice for families, and it has been recognised as an AA campsite of the year for South West England. Woodland tent pitches start at £13.25 a night in low season, with adult and child charges added on top, and booking is available online through the park.
