About this site

Pitches: 52 Opening Dates: Easter To September We are a small freindly family run campsite in the heart of the Derbyshire countryside with 45 tent piches and 10 caravan / motorhome pitches. We like to keep our site as peaceful and quite as possible so you can relax during your stay and take in the view of Mam Tor, The Vale of Edale and Kinder. We have toilets, showers and hot and cold water available. We allow the use of BBQ's but do not allow the burning of wood. We ask that after 10pm at night that noise is kept to minimum. Dogs are allowed on the site but must be kept on leads at all times. We do NOT have any electric hook up on site. Being based on a farm there are free roaming chickens and ducks throughout the campsite and the fields surrounding the campsite have our goats and selection of sheep. We are located half a mile away from the two village pubs, shop and train station. Our prices for staying in a tent are per night, £5.50 per adult £3 per Child aged between(3-12) £3 per car, £5 per Van There is an additional charge for tents over 5 man which have less than 50% occupancy. For caravan and motorhome prices please message for details. WATERSIDE FARM CAMPING CARAVAN. The van is set up for people to enjoy a camping experience without the hassle of putting up a tent or getting wet when it rains. The van has a full sized double bed and memory foam mattress, which is made up on arrival so no need to bring your own bedding, and is a fixed feature. There is a separate table and chairs at the rear of the van so the bed does not have to be put up and down each day as you would have to in most two birth vans. The vans cooking facilities is a two ring gas hob; we have provided pots, pans cutlery, crockery and utensil, so all you need to bring is food, drink, matches and washing up equipment. The van has 12 volt electric lighting and 1 USB port to charge your mobile phone. There is no other plug sockets or electrical equipment in the van. Built into the kitchen there is a cool box for use as your fridge. We supply and replenish the ice packs. As the site has its own toilets and showers and these are close by to the caravan and therefore are not provided in the van.
