West Farm Certificated Location is a five-pitch touring site for Caravan and Motorhome Club members, set on a working farm in the quiet countryside of East Dorset near Verwood. The site sits off the beaten track yet within easy reach of Verwood town, with Bournemouth, the New Forest and the Wiltshire and Hampshire borders all a short drive away for touring. Every pitch has an electric hook-up, and the small toilet block holds two toilets with basins, a metered shower and a kitchen area with a sink. Laundry facilities and free wireless internet (on request) round out the practical side. This is a members-only spot, so you need a valid Caravan and Motorhome Club card to book, and there are no tent pitches. Touring caravans and motorhomes suit it best, and well behaved dogs are welcome on a lead at all times because this is a genuine working farm with livestock. Families staying in a caravan will find the farm animals a draw, and the calm, low-key setting is the real appeal here rather than a long list of on-site extras. West Farm stays open all year, and pitches cost from £21 a night for two people including electricity, paid on arrival.
