About this site

White Horse Campsite is a family-run tent site on Whitehorse Farm at Osmington, set below the Osmington White Horse hill figure on the eastern edge of Weymouth in Dorset. The campsite is a 10 minute drive from Weymouth's beaches at Overcombe, Preston and Ringstead, with local shops and pubs a short walk away and Durdle Door and the wider Jurassic Coast within easy reach. Camping is on flat, open fields where you pick your own spot, and there is no extra charge for large tents or gazebos. This is a tents-only site, so there are no pitches for caravans or motorhomes. Campfires and BBQs are welcome, firewood and a few basics are sold at reception, and children and dogs are made welcome. The season is short: in 2026 White Horse Campsite is open from 24 July to 6 September only, so it is worth booking early. Pricing is per person, from £12 a night for an adult and £5 for a child aged 4 to 14, with under-threes and dogs free, one vehicle included and additional cars charged at £10.
