About this site

Whitehill Country Park is a family holiday park with touring pitches, camping and eco glamping pods spread across 40 acres of rolling South Devon countryside just outside Stoke Gabriel, near Paignton. The setting is proper English Riviera: the Dart estuary village of Stoke Gabriel sits on the doorstep, Paignton seafront is around three miles away, and Torquay and Brixham are a short drive along the coast. Alongside grass and hardstanding touring pitches, camping fields and glamping pods, Whitehill rents self-catering holiday caravans and lodges, so it suits families who want plenty going on rather than campers after a quiet, adults-only field. Facilities are the real draw here, with a heated indoor pool, a heated outdoor pool with a poolside hot tub, indoor soft play, woodland walking trails, a country shop, and bars and eateries with evening entertainment in the Granary. The park has been run by the same family since 1956, and dogs are welcome, with a dedicated walking paddock and a dog shower. The touring and camping season runs across the main part of the year, roughly from Easter to the end of October, and stays are booked through the park's own website.

Good to know

Is Whitehill Country Park dog friendly?
Yes, Whitehill welcomes dogs across its touring and camping areas and in selected dog-friendly holiday caravans. There is a dedicated dog walking paddock and a dog shower on site, so muddy paws are sorted before you head back to your pitch or caravan after a walk.
Can I bring a tent or touring caravan to Whitehill?
Yes, Whitehill has grass and hardstanding touring pitches and camping fields for tents, caravans and motorhomes, with electric hook-ups available. If you would rather not bring your own kit, the park also has eco glamping pods, self-catering holiday caravans and lodges to rent instead.
Does Whitehill Country Park have a swimming pool?
Yes, there is a heated indoor swimming pool plus a heated outdoor pool with a poolside hot tub and a mini splash pad. Indoor soft play, woodland trails, a country shop, bars, a cafe and evening entertainment in the Granary round out the on-site facilities.
How far is Whitehill from the beach?
Whitehill sits about three miles inland from Paignton seafront, on the English Riviera. The beaches and harbours of Paignton, Torquay and Brixham are all a short drive away, and the Dart estuary village of Stoke Gabriel is right on the doorstep for crabbing and riverside walks.
When is Whitehill Country Park open?
The touring and camping season runs across the main part of the year, roughly from Easter to the end of October, while holiday caravans and lodges are also offered for some winter breaks. Stays are booked through the park's own website, where you can check dates and prices.
