About this site

Widdicombe Farm Touring Park is an adults-only touring park on a working family farm above Torquay, on the English Riviera in South Devon. The Glynn family have run it since 1973, and the park sits over eight acres with open views across the countryside towards Dartmoor, where sunsets over the moor can be seen from many pitches. There are around 180 level, mainly hardstanding pitches graded Standard, Super and Premium for caravans and motorhomes, plus a limited number of grass pitches and three self-catering static caravans that sleep two to four. Access is quick and easy off the A380 with no narrow lanes to negotiate, and the beaches of Torquay and Paignton are about ten minutes away, with Totnes, Dartmouth and Dartmoor within easy reach. Because it is adults only, this is a park for couples and older campers rather than families with children. On site you get Gordon's Bar with live entertainment in the main season, Poppies restaurant, visiting pizza, fish and chip and Thai catering units, a shop, a laundry and a seasonal minibus service. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. The park runs from around mid-March to October, and touring tariffs and availability are handled through Widdicombe Farm's own booking system.
